Deep, eh?
No, not really. In business, especially a new or small business, you can spend a lot of time doing a lot of different things and you might even do most of them pretty well. But we’ve come across a few people recently who seem to want to do everything, even when (sometimes especially when) they’re struggling to keep up with it all and their business is suffering.
Of all the things any of us tries to do, the thing we do best is probably what our business is all about. It’s the reason you started, the passion that motivated you or the best route to wealth and success that you could find. Whatever the thinking behind it, what you do best is what you do best. And it’s probably what no one else can do in quite the same way.
In short, it’s why you’re here.
Everything in your business is, or should be, related to marketing. From delivering great products and services so your good name spreads far and wide, to handing over business cards and talking shop with potential clients and partners.
But, and it’s a big but, the bulk of your marketing will probably not be part of the daily routine. It’s an extra. Not an extra cost, because you should always expect to get back more than you spend, but an extra duty, responsibility or job. Something you probably don’t have time for and may well not be the best at.
That’s why we’re here. Promoting our clients is what we do best. Their successes are what motivate and reward us, the difference we knew we could make is what got us started and the results they get are what bring us our financial rewards.
So, while you get on with what you’re best at and most enjoy doing, why not offload some of the ‘other stuff’ onto us?
We love it, we really do. It’s what we’re here for.
